Peer Review Process and Policy
The evaluation aims to assist authors in enhancing their work by offering constructive, timely feedback from experienced academics affiliated with renowned business institutions. HIJBR views this review process as essential for improving articles. Therefore, evaluators are encouraged not only to share their opinions on publication suitability but also to provide suggestions for improving the content and presentation.
The article submitted to HIJBR must be original and not previously published, meaning it cannot have been or currently be submitted to another journal. Submissions will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin.
The process for evaluating articles submitted to HIJBR involves two stages. The first stage is a preliminary review by the Editor and Associate Editors, who assess whether the work aligns with the journal's editorial focus and conduct a Desk Review. The second stage is the actual evaluation, performed through a double-blind review system, by at least two ad hoc reviewers. The evaluation primarily considers the scientific quality of the manuscript, focusing on the following aspects:
- Timeliness of the topic
- Original contribution of the study
- Relevance and theoretical coherence of the text in advancing the field of knowledge
- Strength and adequacy of the theoretical framework employed
- Clarity, organization, and overall quality of the writing
- Significance of the study’s contribution to its specific field
- Appropriateness and rigor of the methodology used
- Rigor and depth of data analysis and discussion (when applicable)
- Soundness, justification, and coherence of the conclusions
The result of the evaluation will be sent to the first author of the work by email.
A total period of 30 days is estimated, from the acceptance of the Desk Review until the first opinion on the article. Once approved, the article undergoes spelling and grammatical review before publication. All articles are published in English.
HIJBR does not charge authors submission fees. We also declare that HIJBR is an Open Access publication, meaning that all of the journal's content is available for free, immediately upon publication.
